Dominion - Intrigue 2ndEdition (Exp.) (engl.)

Dominion-Intrigue is both an expansion of Dominion base game or can be played as solo game. It adds new intriguing card to Kingdom card pool. First, there are multi-task cards where you get to choose actions when you play the card. This adds more strategic options to the game (“Pawn” or ”Steward” or “Baron”). Very nice addition to the game are dual cards, which count as victory card AND give you additional actions, e.g. action-victory card “Nobles” can be played for +3 Cards or +2 Actions; at the end of game is worth 2 victory points! If base game is all about Provinces, Dominion-Intrigue introduces “Duke”, which adds new possibilities for winning the game. Playing card “Masquerade” gives you more options to pass negative cards to your opponents. “Bridge” is a really powerful card, which lowers the price of cards in play! Attack cards in Intrigue are definitely wicked: “Swindler” is probably one of the most hated cards in the game, and “Saboteur” is more or less on the same list of evil attacking cards.
If you love Dominion, you would certainly love Dominion-Intrigue. It is much more interactive than Dominion base game. Maybe it adds a bit more of complexity to the game. What is more important, it gives you more variety. Additional treasury, curse and victory cards allow you to play with more than 4 players (up to 6), but in this case games will be longer. I still prefer to play it with 2-4 players. A must buy for Dominion fans!
