Awkward Guests The Walton Case (engl.)

Beschreibung

Awkward Guests, also known as Incómodos Invitados, is a unique deduction game offering endless replayability. The murder of Mr. Walton can unfold in countless different ways, ensuring no two games are ever the same—though Mr. Walton himself would hardly appreciate it. In this game, players take on the role of detectives tasked with solving the mystery. To do so, you must interrogate suspects, question the household staff, examine the crime scene, search for clues throughout the Walton Mansion, and consult police reports. Throughout the investigation, you’ll exchange information with other players or choose to keep it secret, putting your detective skills to the test. Who killed Mr. Walton? How was the murder carried out? Why did the murderer act? Was there an accomplice involved? The core gameplay revolves around a hand of six cards per player. Each card holds a value—1, 2, or 3 points—reflecting how much information it provides, along with several references connected to that information. On your turn, you request details about two different references that interest you. Other players can offer cards containing these references, and trades are made by exchanging cards equal in point value. At the end of each round, players can attempt to solve the mystery. If the case remains unsolved, some cards are discarded and three new ones are drawn. The first player or players to crack the case emerge victorious.
