Axis & Allies 1940 Pacific 2nd. Edition(engl.)

Beschreibung

Axis & Allies 1940 Pacific 2nd Edition marks the 25th anniversary of this classic strategy war game with a deluxe version of its original theater-level experience. Designed by Larry Harris and incorporating the updated rules from the A&A Anniversary Edition, this game introduces two new combat units: Tactical Bombers and Mechanized Infantry. The ANZAC forces combine Australia and New Zealand as a new playable ally, while China deploys its largest force yet. However, the Chinese forces rely on support from the United States and England to resist the expansionist ambitions of Imperial Japan. The game includes an oversized board measuring 35 inches wide by 32 inches high (89 x 81 cm) and over 450 detailed pieces housed in deluxe components and local storage boxes. New rules for neutral nations, naval and air bases, kamikaze attacks, and convoy disruption add depth and historical accuracy, enriching the gameplay. This deluxe edition is also designed to integrate seamlessly with Axis & Allies: Europe 1940, creating an expansive combined game board measuring 5 feet wide by 32 inches high (178 x 81 cm). Both games can be played individually or together, supporting a 2-6 player global 1940 scenario with separate setups and distinct national objectives.
