Entropy (engl.)

Beschreibung

Entropy is a strategy game for 1 to 4 players aged 14+. Take on the role of a scientist mastering entropy by creating solar systems, igniting stars, designing biomes, and seeding planets with life. Move strategically on the board, play cards to build and upgrade, and compete to complete objectives and earn the most victory points.

For eons, entropy has been an unstoppable force of nature—until humanity learned to understand it, harness it, and shape it to their will. You take on the role of a scientist, part of the most esteemed caste, devoted to mastering the universe's workings for the benefit of your people. Now, the final exam awaits. You must demonstrate your ability to create new solar systems, ignite stars, design diverse biomes, and ultimately seed planets with life. Although this is only a simulation with certain limits, it demands skill and precision—this is science, not magic. You are not alone in this challenge. Across the complex, fellow apprentices begin the same trial, but only one will earn a place in the caste. This is your moment of truth. Entropy unfolds over multiple rounds. On your turn, you move your Scientist 1 to 3 spaces clockwise around the Main board, landing on an inner Action space or an outer space on an Action tile to perform its effect. By playing cards, you build Solar Systems with Stars, Planets, and Asteroids, and then populate them with Life. Along the way, you can gain special abilities by adding Biomes and upgrading your Console. The game ends when any two of the six Main Objectives are completed. The player with the most Victory Points at that time wins.
