Misty Valley (engl.)

Beschreibung

The valley is full of secrets, but only the bravest explorers will uncover them. Choose to lead one of two tribes—the Cherrygnawers or the Trailblazers—and venture into uncharted terrain, competing to gather the most valuable resources. On your turn, add a valley tile to the playing area by selecting from the two face-up tiles or the top of the face-down stack. If the tile features footprints, draw and place an encounter tile, each presenting a forest critter with one or two demands. Then, place one of your three patrol tiles beside one or more tiles in play. These patrol tiles show your tribe members positioned along various edges. If you have more tribe members adjacent to a valley or encounter tile than your opponent, claim that tile by marking it with one of your banners. You can also move your captain figure to a controlled tile, increasing your tribe’s strength there by one. Additionally, you may use one of your tribe’s three special abilities, such as rotating a tile, moving a tile, or playing an extra tile. Each tribe board is double-sided, and you choose which side—and corresponding abilities—to use before the game starts. After the final valley tile is placed and your opponent places their last patrol tile, points are tallied. You score more by controlling multiple valley tiles with the same resource, and bonus points are awarded for fulfilling the demands of encounter creatures. The player with the highest score wins.
