Matagot (2023)In Perfect Shot, your goal is to capture photos of animals to earn the most victory points. On your turn, you can either take an Album card or place a punched Landscape card from your hand onto the previous Landscape card in the game shoe. If any part or the entirety of an animal appears within the camera lenses of your Landscape card, you may take the corresponding Animal Photo tile(s) and add them to one of your photo Albums, while respecting the Album constraints—for example, only snow animals in a specific Album. Completing an Album rewards you with additional victory points, so organizing your photos carefully is key. A perfect shot, where an animal fits entirely within your lens, brings you one step closer to victory. The Yeti is a special case: so elusive that only half of it appears in each photo. You’ll need to capture both halves to prove its existence and earn even more points. Perfect Shot features original punch card components and a deck shoe, an innovative collection mechanism, and quick gameplay set in a colorful world full of charming animals.
