Ceres (engl.)

Beschreibung

In the year 2219, Earth is no longer the center of human attention. Long-distance space travel and planetary colonization have become a reality. Mars has been colonized for over a century and now serves as the base for many institutions. The Asteroid Mining Assembly of Corporations (A.M.A.C) manages all asteroid mining activities, with Ceres—a dwarf planet in the Asteroid Belt—being the heart of the mining industry.

As corporations compete for wealth and influence, the demand for highly skilled workers grows alongside the rapid development of Ceres. In this 1-4 player sci-fi worker placement game, you take on the role of an Asteroid Mining Corporation striving to outperform rivals and dominate Ceres.

The game unfolds over three rounds, each representing a year and a complete business cycle on Ceres. Players can choose from a variety of actions, including launching mining probes to the Asteroid Belt, trading raw materials, constructing and upgrading core facilities, expanding the colony, advancing technology through research, and aligning with the Mars council to increase their influence.

Co-developed with an astrophysicist, Ceres offers a thematic experience enriched with innovative twists on the worker placement genre, making it a unique challenge for strategy enthusiasts.
