"My good fellas, we have gathered you here today to share great news and possible plans. As you know, our family is renowned and respected throughout the neighbourhood, but I ask myself this: is it enough? I’m convinced the time has come for us to aspire to more. What if we make this beautiful city our home? For this to happen, we need to be able to take the reins from a true position of power: the mayor's office. We start by making ourselves known in every corner of the city, we must ensure that our name is not only respected but feared, as it should be!”

Fictions is a 1 to 4 player cooperative game set in gangster pulp literature. Players will take on the role of the mob bosses of a mafia clan whose ultimate goal is to take control of the city, winning the mayoral elections. To achieve this, they must overcome the 3 chapters that will be presented as three different scenarios, while reinforcing the ranks of accomplices at their disposal.

The strength of the clan resides in its deck of Accomplice cards. In the first two chapters, players must achieve the maximum possible Reputation Points and spend them on getting new and better accomplices, to face the final scenario: Bid for Power, with sufficient guarantees of winning the elections.
