Ludonova (2024)Chandigarh (engl.) is a strategy game for 2 to 4 players aged 10+ with a playing time of 45 to 60 minutes. Players take on the role of urban planners building the modern city of Chandigarh using an original card mechanic. They construct buildings, leverage others' constructions, use municipal employees' abilities, and aim to complete city plans to score prestige points and win.
In 1951, the Indian government entrusted the famous architect Le Corbusier with designing a new capital for Punjab, leading to the creation of Chandigarh.
Players take on the role of urban planners tasked with building this modern city from the ground up.
Using a unique card-driven mechanic, they construct buildings, capitalize on structures built by others, leverage the abilities of various municipal employees, and strategically position themselves in key locations. The goal is to fulfill the patterns on their chosen plans. The player who earns the most prestige points through these efforts wins the game.
