Barony: Royal Edition Deluxe (engl.)

Beschreibung

Barony: Royal Edition Deluxe (engl.) is a strategy game for 2 to 5 players aged 14+ with a playing time of 60 minutes. Players act as ambitious barons expanding their dominion through recruitment, movement, construction, and noble titles. This deluxe edition includes the Sorcery expansion and new asymmetric player powers, adding depth and variety to the gameplay.

In Barony, players take on the role of ambitious barons striving to expand their dominion across the land. Each turn, you choose one of six actions to grow your territory and weaken your opponents.

• Recruitment: Add two knights to a city, or three if the city is adjacent to a lake.
• Movement: Move one or two knights one space each. Moving a second knight into an enemy-occupied space allows you to remove opposing pawns or villages and claim a resource from the village’s owner.
• Construction: Replace knights on the board with villages or strongholds, earning resources for each replacement.
• New City: Upgrade one of your villages to a city, earning 10 victory points.
• Expedition: Remove two knights from your reserve—one is placed out of play, the other on an empty edge space of the board.
• Noble Title: Spend at least 15 resource points to upgrade your title from baron to viscount, then count, marquis, and finally duke.

When a player reaches the rank of duke, the current round finishes, and victory points are tallied. Points come from resources held, noble rank, and the number of cities controlled. The player with the highest total wins the game.

This Royal Edition Deluxe includes the Barony: Sorcery expansion and introduces all-new asymmetric player powers, adding depth and variety to the original game.
