Koi (engl.)

Beschreibung

Koi (engl.) is a family game for 1 to 4 players aged 10+ with a playing time of 45 minutes. Players build a 3D koi pond, using meditation and work actions to place tiles and acquire koi. Featuring beautiful 3D elements and dynamic goals, it offers a peaceful yet strategic experience with a robust solo mode.

In Koi, players create a stunning 3D koi pond, bringing their water garden to life by thoughtfully using available actions to design a beautiful and harmonious habitat. The game draws inspiration from the Japanese koi—multicolored carp revered as "swimming flowers," symbols of perseverance and virtue—and invites you to welcome these living jewels into your pond for luck and success. Set against the peaceful backdrop of Japanese gardens, Koi challenges you to build your pond by placing tiles, populating it with koi, and competing for harmony, beauty, and victory points. Each turn, you choose between two key actions: meditating to draw cards, earn coins, and acquire koi from the market; or working with your Sensei’s unique abilities to arrange your tiles and shape your pond. With a customizable, multi-layer tile placement system and elegant 3D components like bridges and lanterns, every game offers a fresh and engaging experience. Players complete dynamic goals, unlock new features, and enjoy watching their tranquil garden evolve. Koi also includes a robust solo mode, perfect for quiet, contemplative gameplay.
