This new mode of transportation sparked a railway boom across the country. Local entrepreneurs, and later powerful tycoons, established new companies that grew into large railway corporations throughout the Taishō and Shōwa eras.
As players, you will take on the roles of these tycoons, building and managing your own railway empires as you compete for the most renown.
Railway Boom recreates this era of industry through gameplay by having players balance resource management with the growth of their railways connecting various cities across Japan.

Schönes Spielmaterial und interessanter Spielablauf. In jeder Spielphase wird mit einer anderen Ressource um die Zugreihenfolge geboten. Die ist wichtig, um als erster Zugriff auf die jeweilige Auslage zu erhalten. Man errichtet sein Eisenbahnnetzwerk, versucht Ressourcen zu bekommen und damit in jeder Runde einen individuellen Zug aus Karten zusammenzustellen. Im Grunde handelt es sich um ein Ressourcenmanagentspiel und Bietspiel, in Verbindung mit Netzwerkbildung. Clever gemacht, klare und einfache Spielabläufe , die sowohl taktische als auch strategische Überlegungen erfordern mit einer für so ein Spiel relativ kurzen Spieldauer. Toll!
