Beschreibung

Age of Civilization Reprint (engl.) is a strategy game for 1 to 4 players aged 10+ with a playing time of 30-60 minutes. Lead multiple civilizations through six rounds, managing workers and resources to build wonders, research technologies, and conquer for glory. Strategic choices on civilization combinations and timing are key to achieving the highest victory points.

In Age of Civilization, players take on the challenge of guiding their people through the rise and fall of empires to create a unique and powerful civilization. Each game allows you to lead up to three historical civilizations, combining their abilities to build Wonders, research technologies, develop culture, and expand your influence. Success depends on wisely managing workers and resources to maximize your civilization’s potential.

The game unfolds over six rounds. At the start, each player selects a civilization card from the market and receives worker tokens based on that civilization’s population value. Workers are assigned to various action slots, enabling players to earn or spend coins, acquire technologies or wonders, and gain victory points. The available actions change from round to round, creating varied strategic options. Depending on the chosen actions, workers may return to the player or be lost at the end of their turn.

In later rounds, players may replace their current civilization by selecting a new card, resetting their worker count to the new population value and losing the previous civilization’s main ability. However, legacy abilities from all civilizations are maintained throughout the game. Each player can choose up to three civilizations in total, making the timing and combination of civilizations a crucial strategic decision.

After the sixth round, the player with the highest victory points emerges as the winner, having crafted the most impressive civilization through skillful planning and adaptation.
