Fortunes of Scoundrel Bay (engl.)

Beschreibung

Fortunes of Scoundrel Bay (engl.) is a strategy game for 1 to 4 players aged 14+ with a playing time of 75 minutes. Players take on the roles of pirate captains competing to collect gold by conquering harbors, delivering crates, and fighting monsters. The game features unique multi-use cards, asymmetric player boards, and high player interaction without negative attacks.

In Fortunes of Scoundrel Bay, you take on the role of a pirate captain striving to amass the greatest wealth by conquering harbors, uncovering hideouts, delivering crates, digging for buried treasure, and building your reputation through monster battles. Each player develops their crew to unlock increasingly powerful actions such as treasure digging, invading hideouts, and handling cargo deliveries.

On your turn, you play one card from your hand and select one of three actions: Recruit, Sail and shoot monsters, or Invade. However, you cannot choose the same action as in your previous turn. The game features a deck of 84 unique, multi-use cards, each usable with all three actions. After passing each of five reefs, players resolve events and must feed their crew. The game concludes once a captain crosses the fifth reef, with faster sailing shortening the game but risking insufficient strength to secure victory.

The box includes asymmetric player boards, unique player power tiles, screen-printed captain and pirate ship figures, 108 pirate miniatures, event cards, and more. Fortunes of Scoundrel Bay offers intense player interaction as you compete for control of lucrative islands, draft crew cards in an open selection, race to defeat monsters before others, and engage in strategic blind bidding—all without negative or take-that mechanics.
