Age of Wonders - Planetfall (engl.)

Beschreibung

The golden age of the Star Union has ended. The detonation of massive Gravity-Bombs, intended to create spatial rifts to new worlds, triggered the Collapse and left many planets isolated from the Empire. In the aftermath, the surviving factions began to rebuild civilization and recover lost technology. Once united under a single banner, they must now confront each other to determine who will inherit the legacy of this great power. You take on the role of Commander of one of the six remaining factions, venturing into the long-abandoned territories of the Star Union. Over seven rounds, your expedition will explore seven different planets, searching for valuable resources and technology, engaging hostile units, and claiming strategic landmarks. Each round, players conduct two explorations per planet. Empire points are earned by defeating enemy units, researching new technologies, securing landmarks, and completing operations across these worlds. At the end of the game, additional points are awarded for meeting objectives detailed on a specific Goal sheet. The player with the highest total of Empire points emerges victorious and shapes the new order from the remnants of the old Empire.
