Amalfi Renaissance (engl.) is a strategy game for 1 to 4 players aged 14+ with a playing time of 60 to 120 minutes. Players act as merchants in Renaissance Amalfi, trading resources, investing in infrastructure, and hiring historical figures to revive the port town and become the most successful family. This edition includes new rules, characters, updated cards, and a solo mode.

In Amalfi: Renaissance, players become merchants in the historic Italian port town of Amalfi during the Renaissance era. Once a dominant maritime power, Amalfi’s influence has waned, and the players strive to restore its former glory using just six small ships. Players trade resources with their ships to earn money, which they can invest in improving infrastructure—unlocking greater profits and more opportunities. Strategic choices include purchasing charts and enhancing navigation for efficient trade, building additional ships to increase workforce and actions, and collecting paints, books, and historical buildings to gain honor and acclaim. Hiring renowned historical figures boosts players’ actions, while creating counters in cities grants extra resources and new possibilities. The ultimate goal is to revive Amalfi while becoming the most successful merchant family in this significant harbor city. This new edition introduces updated rules for building counters, new characters, redesigned level layouts, revised card values, and a solo mode. The game concludes after four rounds, with the player holding the most Victory Points declared the winner.
