Ancient Civilizations of the Middle East (engl.)

Beschreibung

Ancient Civilizations of the Middle East ist ein Kennerspiel.

If you enjoyed Ancient Civilizations of the Inner Sea, you will appreciate Ancient Civilizations of the Middle East (ACME). Created by the same design team—Christopher Vorder Bruegge and Mark McLaughlin, with development by Fred Schachter—ACME is an independent game, not a sequel or expansion. It builds on the multiplayer and solitaire systems of its predecessor while introducing many new and engaging features. ACME invites you to navigate the unpredictable forces of gods and men, managing chaos to lead your civilization to victory. The game covers a vast ancient world, from the Hellespont to the Indus, and from the Caspian Sea to the Red Sea, spanning periods from the early Bronze Age to the Hellenic Age. Impressively, you can command 17 different civilizations, offering a broad range of strategic possibilities. Whether you prefer intense warfare or a more peaceful approach, ACME accommodates both. The game can focus on conflict or on exploration, city building, trade, and religious development. Suitable for solitaire play, groups of up to six players, or hybrid games mixing live players with system-driven civilizations, it adapts to your preferred style. The pace is also flexible: play through all four epochs in a lengthy session, opt for a shorter game, or set a Sudden Death Victory Point goal. How the game unfolds is up to you and your fellow players.
