Anunnaki: Dawn of the Gods is a 4X eurogame set in an ancient dystopian world where mythology meets science fiction. Each player leads a distinct House revered as gods by the terrestrial population. Throughout the game, players build settlements, recruit followers, embody gods, explore planets, and gather resources from their territories. They develop technology, negotiate trade contracts, and confront rival dominions and armies in their quest to conquer Atlantis, home to vast treasures. The game introduces a unique action-selection mechanism using a star-shaped player board with a different action available at each intersection. Players must decide whether to follow the star’s path to quickly deploy their gods or to choose actions strategically to advance their civilization in the most effective way. Every decision matters and can lead to a memorable victory or a crushing defeat. With factions boasting unique abilities, a randomized setup, and minimal luck influence, Anunnaki: Dawn of the Gods offers an immersive and strategic experience for enthusiasts of deep, complex board games.
