Bayou Boss (engl.)

Description

Bayou Boss is a children's game for 3 to 8 players aged 8+ with a playing time of 45 minutes. A clever trick-taking card game where the goal is to avoid winning tricks while collecting valuable cards from the Swamp. Unique character cards alter gameplay by changing trumps or forcing trick wins, offering strategic depth and high replayability in a Bayou setting.

Down in the Big Bayou, you’re just getting started and looking to make a name for yourself. Bayou Boss is a clever trick-taking card game with two big twists: the goal is not to win tricks but to take as few as possible. While players try to avoid winning tricks, they also compete to collect valuable cards from a central pool called the Swamp. At the end of each round, players take turns selecting cards from the Swamp, so planning carefully is key to avoid ending up with the worst scraps. Characters from the Bayou add an extra layer of strategy, influencing the flow of tricks by changing trumps or forcing players to win tricks when they least want to. With 10 different character cards offering unique effects, each game brings fresh challenges and high replayability, as not all characters appear every time. Outsmarting your opponents and managing your tricks wisely will help you claim the title of the Boss of the Bayou!
