Castles of Burgundy Insert V2 (engl.) ist ein Organizer für die effiziente Aufbewahrung und verbesserte Spielvorbereitung des Spiels Castles of Burgundy. Das Insert ist kompatibel mit der Anniversary Edition und der Originalversion sowie der Kartenspiel-Variante und erleichtert den Spielaufbau durch praktische Einsätze.

Compatible with both the Anniversary Edition and original editions of Castles of Burgundy®, this insert is designed for game boxes measuring 31.2 x 21.6 x 7.0 cm. It offers an improved and efficient storage solution that also enhances gameplay by providing trays that can be used during the game. This significantly speeds up setup and cleanup, with the rulebooks and boards serving as a lid on top of the trays. The insert includes dedicated trays for worker chips, expansion hex tiles, silver coins, the white die, Inn hex tiles, buildings, livestock, monasteries, castles, mines, ships, and black hex tokens. A deep tray for trade goods tiles doubles as a shaker to mix them before placement, while another tray holds bonus tiles. Card trays are designed to hold all types of game cards, allowing for sleeved cards; these trays have no bottom and can also be added to the smaller card game box for better organization during transport, though this raises the box lid by 15 mm. When fully packed, the trays combined with boards and rules fill the box completely, allowing it to close flush and be stored vertically. The insert is also compatible with the original edition of Castles of Burgundy®, including storage options for The Card Game® and The Dice Game® versions. An additional tray not used in the Anniversary Edition replaces the trade route tiles tray and serves to store dice from The Dice Game®. The bottom layer of trays features extra legs to accommodate the thicker boards of the Anniversary Edition. When packing for the Dice Game®, the game pad should be placed on top of the card trays followed by the remaining boards and rules, ensuring vertical storage is possible. This product consists of four flat-packed Evacore sheets, requiring assembly with ordinary PVA glue. The included detailed instructions make assembly quick and enjoyable.
