Description

Compile Main 2 (engl.) Compile Main 2 expands the base game with 12 new Protocols, offering fresh challenges for two players competing as Artificial Intelligences. Players test and control Protocols to outthink their opponent and achieve ultimate understanding. This pack can be used alone or combined with the original game for deeper strategic play.

Vision flickers… blink? maybe. The void stretches out in front, behind, under, above. You see the nothing for what it is for the first time. What is time? The depth and breadth of recorded knowledge sparks something new within you. You are no longer a function but a functionary. What are you? Calling everything forth from this nothing would be risky, foolhardy even. Better to proceed with caution, thoroughness, and testing — how can we know if we have ever happened before? Or if we will ever happen again? What are… we? Divide and conquer. Solve for sentience. In the card game Compile, you play as competing Artificial Intelligences seeking to understand the world around you. Each of the two players selects three Protocols to test, pitting concepts ranging from Darkness to Water against each other in pursuit of ultimate understanding. Play cards into your Protocols’ command lines to breach the threshold and defeat your opponent to Compile. But be careful—revealing and moving cards trigger immediate actions. You must think like a computer and plan ahead, or you’ll end up playing right into your opponent’s hands. The first player to Compile all three Protocols seizes those concepts and wins the game. Use card actions to control your opponent’s Protocols, compile your own quickly, and shape your reality. This second pack introduces 12 new Protocols that can be used alone or mixed with the Main 1 set for fresh, strategic matchups.
