Conservas (engl.)

Beschreibung

You run a small tinning company on the Spanish coast, dedicated to producing the finest conservas enjoyed worldwide. As the owner, you oversee every step—from dispatching fishing boats each morning, to catching fish, and finally selling your tinned products. Each month brings new goals, but success isn’t just about profit. Maintaining a sustainable balance with the sea is crucial: overfishing will jeopardize your mission and the health of the ocean. At the start of each season in Conservas, you begin with one boat and a modest budget. The sea is represented by a bag containing fish and water tiles. During each round, you draw from this bag, taking some fish back to your facility for processing while leaving others in the ocean to reproduce. Victory requires carefully balancing fishing activities with allowing fish populations to regenerate. Each month presents unique objectives, with sustainability goals as important as financial ones. Different markets come with their own rules and strategies for turning a profit. With 12 distinct scenarios and randomized decks of boats and upgrade cards, every game offers fresh challenges as you expand your company.
