The morning sun rises over the towering, rugged mountains that define the Iberian Peninsula. Hammers ring out as iron meets iron, battling against the unforgiving landscape to lay new track. The age of the railroad is arriving in Iberia, but progress will be hard earned.
In Iberian Gauge, you invest in railroad companies during Stock Rounds. When Operating Rounds begin, each share of stock you own lets you build track for that company, following the order in which shares were bought. Constructing railways in such challenging terrain is costly, so leasing track from other companies can help reduce expenses and keep your network expanding. Without steady growth, your stock value will fall, leading to financial ruin.
