SETI: Space Agencies expands the base game by introducing asymmetric organizations, each with distinctive abilities, strategic benefits, and unique starting conditions that change how you pursue the search for extraterrestrial life. As the leader of a diverse institution—from private tech firms to global research networks—you gain access to exclusive tools and perspectives, enabling innovative strategies and encouraging long-term planning. The expansion also adds three new alien species, each bringing unique gameplay elements, along with over forty new project cards inspired by real-world initiatives. These cards blend seamlessly into the main deck, increasing variety and strategic depth. "Quick Start" cards allow players to skip the slower initial round and jump directly into the action, adding another layer of asymmetry during setup and speeding up games with fewer players. Additionally, the new signal tokens enhance scanning efficiency, providing subtle but impactful new mechanics that interact with your organization's strengths and the challenges of interstellar exploration. SETI: Space Agencies enriches the strategic complexity of the mission to discover life beyond Earth.
