The Glade (Collectors Edition) (engl.)

Description

The Glade (Collectors Edition) (engl.) is a strategy game for 1 to 4 players aged 14+ with a playing time of 30-60 minutes. Players fill their forest boards with sets of tiles featuring creatures, leaves, and fruits to claim toadstool counters and score points. The Collector's Edition includes wooden match tiles and a sorting mat, enhancing the gameplay experience.

It’s summertime, and deep within the forest lies the peaceful glade.

In The Glade, players build their individual forest boards by placing sets of forest tiles—drawn from their tile racks—featuring creatures, leaves, and forest fruits. By creating sets of three matching tiles, you place a toadstool counter onto the central glade board. Completing a set of four tiles allows you to add a toadstool to your own store. You can claim toadstool counters from the glade by playing matching forest tiles, and place these counters into enclosures on your forest board to unlock additional actions.

The game ends when a player has placed all twelve of their toadstool counters or when all forest tiles have been drawn from the bag. The player with the highest score then wins.

After mastering the basic game, you can advance to the "matching" variant, where you also match your forest tiles to the creatures, leaves, or forest fruits depicted on your forest board, adding a new level of strategy.

This Collector’s Edition offers enhanced components not found in the standard edition, including wooden match tiles and a sorting mat.
