Underwater Cities (engl.)

Beschreibung

Underwater Cities is a strategy game for 1 to 4 players aged 12+. Build and upgrade underwater habitats using a unique card placement system that grants actions and advantages. Manage resources, construct domes, tunnels, and production buildings, and optimize your subsea network to score the most victory points by game end.

In Underwater Cities compete to build the most efficient and advanced underwater habitats as Earth's surface becomes increasingly crowded. Players use a unique card placement system, where three colored cards are placed along the edges of the main board into corresponding colored slots. Placing cards into matching colored slots grants both the action shown on the board and the card’s special advantage. These actions and advantages enable players to gather resources, construct and upgrade domes, tunnels, and various production buildings like farms, desalination devices, and laboratories within their underwater zones. Players also adjust their position on the initiative track, activating special A-cards and acquiring new basic and special cards to enhance strategy options throughout the game. With nearly 220 cards divided into four types based on their usage, and double-sided underwater area boards offering diverse planning possibilities, Underwater Cities challenges players to optimally develop their subsea networks and score the most victory points by game end.
