Pegasus Spiele (2016)Viva Topo (engl.) is a family game for 2 to 4 players aged 4+ with a playing time of 20 to 30 minutes. Players race their mice to various goals to earn cheese points while avoiding a cat that speeds up as the game progresses. Movement is determined by a die, balancing risk and reward in a fun, engaging chase.
In Viva Topo!, players race their mice from the start toward various goals on the board. The farther the goal, the more cheese points it is worth. However, a cat pursues the mice and removes any that it manages to catch.
Movement is determined by a die showing 1/1/2/3/4/5. Whenever a "1" is rolled, the cat also moves. Initially, the cat moves one space per turn, but after completing a full circuit of the board, its movement increases to two spaces, accelerating the chase and bringing the game closer to its end.
Viva Topo! is a family-friendly game where players must carefully weigh risk and reward to outpace the cat and collect the most cheese.
