Wine & Cheese (engl.)

Beschreibung

Wine & Cheese is a strategy game for 2 players aged 12+. Manage a traditional Burgundy farm producing wine and cheese by allocating workers to shared vineyards and pastures. Balance production, aging, and sales over two years to maximize your farm’s score, focusing on the product with the fewest coins earned.

In beautiful Burgundy, two players each manage a traditional farm producing both wine and cheese. Although they share vineyards, pastures, and labor as neighbors, they remain fierce competitors. Over the course of two years, players must skillfully handle the complex tasks involved in wine and cheese production. Workers are sent out in pairs to various plots in spring and return in autumn to gather ingredients. Timing is crucial—not only for producing and aging the products to achieve the best quality but also for selling them at the optimal moment. Success depends on maintaining a balance between wine and cheese production. At the end of the two years, each farm’s final score corresponds to the product that earned the fewest coins, so careful management of both goods is essential. Wine & Cheese is the spiritual but standalone successor to Beer & Bread.
