A team of astronauts embarks on a rescue mission to a desolate planet, aiming to uncover the fate of a long-lost scientific vessel. With just over a day to investigate, they soon realize that the survivors they encounter—and the planet itself—harbor dark secrets. To prevent disaster for everyone on the planet and throughout the galaxy, they must unravel the mystery of The Shadow Planet. The Shadow Planet™: The Board Game is a retro sci-fi experience inspired by the Italian graphic novel by the Blasteroid Bros and classic films like Forbidden Planet, The Thing, and Alien. Designed by Gianluca and Giacomo Santopietro, the creators of Letters from Whitechapel, this game combines a suspenseful horror narrative and hidden identities with an innovative take on the deck-building genre. Each playthrough offers a fresh challenge and the opportunity to explore different strategies. Players choose from six unique characters and draw secret objectives, working to deceive their opponents and influence the game's flow by managing multiple decks. Exploring various locations on the planet grants access to powerful cards and special abilities, while careful observation of rival moves helps reveal their true identities and hidden goals.
