Vengeance: Roll & Fight is a fast-paced real-time roll-and-write game set in the gritty world of Vengeance. Designed by Dávid Turczi, Noralie Lubbers, and Gordon Calleja, this stand-alone title transforms the intense dice puzzles of the original Vengeance into a dynamic dice allocation system where players build combos, take down enemies, and rack up points with thrilling combat that’s easy to learn but offers deep strategic challenge. Players infiltrate a gang den, battling through its rooms to defeat the Boss while completing side objectives printed on the den itself. The game unfolds in three phases: planning, fighting, and montage. During planning, players roll and re-roll four dice from a shared pool in real time, aiming to match dice combinations to trigger specific abilities. Assigning dice to an ability lets players refill their hand from the communal pool and continue planning as quickly as possible. Once the dice pool is exhausted, the fight phase begins. Players use the dice assigned to abilities to move through enemy-filled rooms, crossing out foes as their powers strike true. In the montage phase, players heal and upgrade their characters, bringing new abilities and items into play to aid their path to vengeance. Vengeance: Roll & Fight is available in two stand-alone episodes, each featuring distinct heroes, dens, bosses, abilities, and items. Both support up to four players, and combining episodes increases the player count up to eight. All content is fully interchangeable, allowing customization and variety across sessions.
