Godsforge is a fast, simultaneous-play, epic fantasy battle that plays in just 30 minutes. Not many games out there can do all that! Fast-paced game play. One of the biggest complaints from board gamers is about waiting their turn. Godsforge's play is simultaneous, to give the game a quick pace. Your choices matter. Your dice rolls are used strategically, as you roll and re-roll then mix and combine them to craft creations and spells from your cards. Cleverly deploying your dice lets you always play your best cards, with no waiting. Straightforward multiplayer battles. Combat is simple but strategic — attack to your left, defend from your right — so the game goes quickly even with more players, and kingmaking is inherently foiled. Perfectly balanced power ramp and a swift conclusion. Each player’s power rises dramatically throughout the game. Endgame conditions mean play comes to a swift conclusion when a player dies, with a climactic ending every time. And eliminated players get right back into the next game’s action, with no waiting!

Second Edition Enhancements
The Second Edition of Godsforge makes these improvements to the game: Rules and card text revised by the game’s designer Brendan Stern, but fully backward-compatible. Board contrast improved for better legibility at a distance. Custom dice with wild symbols for 1s and veilstone symbols for 6s. Veilstone gems are now translucent rather than metallic, to be more environmentally friendly. “Veilstone Use” cheat sheet added to the back of the reference cards. Card art enhancements by the game's artist Diego L Rodriguez. Box depth decreased for improved shipping efficiency. Sustainable paper. Rules made of FSC paper. Boxes' inner grey board is recycled paper, and outer wrapping paper is FSC. FSC-certified paper from responsibly managed forests provides environmental, social, and economic benefits. Single-use plastic shrinkwrap replaced with a paper band on card deck and transparent wafer seals to secure the box.
