Godsforge 2nd. Edition (engl.)

Description

Godsforge 2nd.

Godsforge is a fast-paced, simultaneous-play epic fantasy battle where players cast spells by rolling dice, re-rolling, and combining them to create powerful cards in real time. Everyone plays at once, crafting and attacking simultaneously without downtime, ensuring continuous engagement and strategic choices throughout. Combat is straightforward yet strategic: attack the player on your left while defending against the player on your right. This system keeps gameplay quick and balanced, even with multiple players, and prevents kingmaking. As each player’s power dramatically increases over the course of the game, the action builds to a swift and climactic conclusion when a player is eliminated. Eliminated players can immediately join the next round, maintaining the game's dynamic flow. The Second Edition refines the experience with designer Brendan Stern’s updated rules and card text, improved board legibility, and custom dice featuring wild and veilstone symbols. Veilstone gems are now translucent for an eco-friendlier approach, complemented by a new “Veilstone Use” cheat sheet on the reference cards. The stunning card art by Diego L Rodriguez has been enhanced, and packaging improvements include a slimmer box for more efficient shipping and the use of FSC-certified and recycled materials. The game replaces single-use plastic shrinkwrap with a paper band and wafer seals, emphasizing sustainability without compromising quality.
