20.000 Leagues Under the Sea (engl.) is a strategy game for 1 to 5 players aged 10+ with a playing time of 45 minutes. Players explore the depths aboard Captain Nemo’s Nautilus, uncovering sunken ships, marine creatures, and Atlantis mysteries. The game features unique character bonuses, a solo mode, and tactical movement on double-sided maps, rewarding thoughtful planning and spatial strategy.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea is a thematic exploration game inspired by Jules Verne’s classic novel. Players assume the roles of crew members aboard Captain Nemo’s submarine, the Nautilus, navigating between surface and underwater maps to uncover discoveries, face dangers, and experience wonders beneath the sea. Over sixteen simultaneous turns, players secretly select one of three character rows each round and then move the Nautilus using the associated movement points. They record discoveries and score points for islands in line of sight, sunken ships, seaweed forests, treasures, and hunted cetaceans on their sheets. If multiple players choose the same character, a hazard is triggered—unless one player holds the rotating Conseil card, which grants temporary immunity. With unique character bonuses, a dedicated solo mode, and layered end-game scoring, the game emphasizes strategic planning and tactical movement. The double-sided map system invites players to dive and surface at crucial moments, adding depth and replayability. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea offers an elegant and immersive experience for 1 to 5 players.
