Age of Rome Senator Edition (engl.)

Beschreibung

In Age of Rome, set in 44 BC, you take on the role of a Roman senator competing to become the new emperor. Each player starts with a unique hero and player board, along with secret quests and initial resources including Denarii, Followers, Scheme tokens, Legions, and Votes.

Over nine rounds, players strategically build structures across various provinces on a rotating board, balancing war, politics, trade, and religion while interacting and competing with rivals. Each round follows four phases:

• Scheme phase: An Event card is revealed to determine turn order, and players activate Schemes accordingly.
• Building phase: Players construct buildings in turn order.
• Action phase: Followers are placed to take actions and influence the game.
• Income phase: Players collect income and the provinces board shifts.

Glory Points can be earned in various ways, including building structures, securing majority votes, conquering regions with legions, trading or collecting items, and even creating a Pantheon. Successfully completed secret quests also grant additional Glory Points.

After the final round, the player with the most Glory Points is declared the new Emperor of Rome.
