Anachrony: Fractures of Time (Exp.) (engl.) Anachrony: Fractures of Time expands the base game with a new storyline featuring the Path of Unity and the Flux technology. Players explore Amethynia Valley to acquire Flux Cores, enabling powerful new actions and worker types while managing risks like Temporal Glitches. The expansion introduces advanced tech upgrades and new strategic options for enhanced gameplay.

Since the Paths' Time Rifts first activated on the Day of Reminiscence, many inhabitants of New Earth have experienced visions of a mysterious fifth Time Rift above Ground Zero, the site of the impact. These visions have fostered a deep sense of empathy and unity among people, surpassing their original Path loyalties. This led to a mass migration from the Path capitals during the first Era, with pioneers discovering that the foretold Time Rift not only exists but also forms the foundation for a new civilization—the Path of Unity. Explorers from the Path of Unity uncovered a remote mountain valley where mutated flora, altered by the asteroid’s toxic Neutronium dust, developed into crystalline flower-like formations that produce a substance called Flux. This Flux is harvested and studied by the valley’s enigmatic inhabitants, the Harvesters. While willing to share the secrets of Flux technology with the Paths, the Harvesters remain silent about its side effects—effects only they can resist. In *Fractures of Time*, Anachrony’s first major expansion, the original four Paths and the newly formed Path of Unity gain access to Flux technology. Flux Cores can be obtained in the new main zone, Amethynia Valley. By harnessing Flux Cores to power their Fracture device, players can “Blink”—that is, move an already placed Exosuit to a different action space instead of placing a new one—or immediately recover some Workers or Free Action markers. This technology opens up new possibilities for action efficiency, but overuse carries risks. Without a sufficiently advanced Fracture device, players may trigger Temporal Glitches—chaotic negative effects such as disabling Exosuit bays, temporarily shutting down buildings, or increasing vulnerability to Anomalies. The Valley holds further secrets. Operators with advanced technology can remove Temporal Glitches, upgrade classic Path technologies with unique quirks, and recruit the Harvesters as a new class of Workers immune to Flux’s adverse effects.
