Aquatica: Cold Waters (Exp.) (engl.)

Description

The waters of Aquatica have thrived for centuries under the rule of wise and noble Sea-Kings, where all sea creatures lived in peace and harmony. But everything changed when the cold waters of the North Ocean surged into Aquatica’s warm seas, triggered by underwater volcanic eruptions. This sudden climate shift brought unexpected and dramatic consequences.

The citizens of Aquatica were astonished to find the polar seas teeming with strange and unfamiliar life. Meanwhile, several northern nations discovered Aquatica’s wealth and prosperity—and they are prepared to battle for its resources.

Following a volcanic eruption, the Royal City lies in ruins and panic spreads across the empire. Even the four brave Sea-Kings vying for the Crown of Aquatica overlook reports of strange creatures lurking at the empire’s edges. Thus begins The Polar Invasion.

The expansion Aquatica: Cold Waters introduces several new modules, including all components needed for a fifth player. It can be integrated with the base game and offers new locations, new Ocean creature cards, and an alternative mechanic that replaces the goal-track from the original game.
