Arcana is a strategic card game set in the mythical city of Cadwallon, where up to four players compete to gain control over the city’s Guilds by amassing the most power.

Players take on the roles of different Guilds—such as the Guild of Blades or the Guild of Thieves—and deploy agents to compete for various Stake cards revealed during the game. These Stake cards represent resources and influence across military, political, economic, and other domains. Using cards from their Main Deck, players place agents on Stake cards and enhance them with additional cards to secure victories in these contests.

The winner of each Stake claims the card, which is added to their Resource Deck along with any played cards from their Main Deck. When the Main Deck is exhausted, the Resource Deck is reshuffled to form a new Main Deck. More powerful Stake cards improve your deck and overall chances as the game progresses. Cards that do not fit your strategy can be placed beneath your Guild card—still scoring points at the end but avoiding reshuffling to maintain deck focus.

Each Guild features unique abilities that influence outcomes—for example, the Guild of Blades always wins ties in military-based Stakes. In addition, players receive Objective cards at the start, which grant extra points when completed, encouraging varied tactical approaches.

With its dynamic deck customization and four diverse Guilds to choose from, Arcana offers deep strategic play with high replayability.
