Ayar - Children of The Sun (engl.)

Description

Ayar - Children of The Sun is a strategy game for 1 to 4 players aged 14+. Retell the Inca origin myth by guiding your clan alongside the Ayar through the Andes. Develop skills like farming, pottery, and weaving while balancing strategic and tactical decisions to gain favor from the sun and moon gods, shaping the future of your civilization.

Retell the incredible origin myth of the Inca in this dramatic mid-weight eurogame.

In the beginning, Viracocha the creator brought forth Inti, the sun god, and Mama Quilla, the moon goddess. From their union were born four sons and four daughters: the Ayar. These siblings were charged with guiding the first clans and teaching them the skills needed to build a civilisation. As they journeyed across the land seeking fertile grounds, the Ayar faced their destinies one by one—until only two remained to found Tawantinsuyu, the Inca Empire.

In Ayar: Children of the Sun, players assume the role of one of these first clans, traveling alongside the Ayar through the Andes. Follow their teachings to develop essential skills like farming, pottery, weaving, and reed bundling. While advancing your own clan, you must also influence the progress of the Ayar, ensuring survival for those who reward your most developed talents.

Strive for Mama Quilla’s long-term approval through strategic planning, and please Inti with tactical decisions. But be cautious: the god who favors you least will determine your final score at the end of the game.

The future of your clan—and of the Inca civilisation itself—is in your hands.
