Builders of Blankenburg Second Edition (engl.)

Description

Blankenburg returns in its second edition, inviting two to six players to compete as builders vying for prestige in the eyes of a newly arrived count. Your goal is to develop the town by constructing various structures, but success depends on more than just building—you must also consider the unique interests of the town’s citizens. A new citizen track adds strategic depth, as different residents prefer different types of buildings and will generate silver accordingly. Catering to their needs ensures a steady income to fund further construction. This edition features numerous improvements for clarity, accessibility, and balance:

• A redesigned rulebook that simplifies learning and fine-tunes gameplay balance.
• Structure cards now display resource symbols instead of color blocks and are aligned with district symbols on the board for easier placement.
• Adjustments to the powers of castle and cathedral structures to better match their costs.
• The addition of a wench to starting citizens, enhancing early income from buildings.
• Various minor rules updates based on player feedback.
• Player aids on the back of screens and multiple silver denominations to streamline play.

Builders of Blankenburg Second Edition offers a fresh take on the classic bidding and building mechanics, rewarding careful planning and attention to the town’s inhabitants.
