Cloudspire: Keel (Exp.) (engl.)

Cloudspire: Keel (Exp.) (engl.) This expansion enhances Cloudspire with the Keel faction's void-based technology and powerful promoted units. Strategic spire placement is crucial for transforming minions and unlocking new abilities. Featuring dynamic heroes like Chira and General Eko, it adds depth to movement and control tactics, enriching the base game's strategic play.

In Cloudspire, spire placement is always crucial, especially for the Keel faction. The Keel spires embody the darkness of their void-based technology, casting a shadow across the land. Correct spire placement on a tile is the only way a Keel unit can transform into its much more powerful promoted version. Some spires even grant new abilities to promoted minions, creating an even greater threat to enemy factions. However, be cautious! If a minion leaves an island hex containing a Keel spire, it will revert to its non-promoted form. To maintain their power, you must keep strong control over Source wells along your path. The Keel also feature some of the most dynamic heroes in the game. The faction’s starting hero, Chira, can increase the Keel’s CP—provided spires are properly placed—while the Keel leader, General Eko, counts as a spire himself. Don’t overlook Chira’s Poise ability, a particular favorite in the Chip Theory offices. Poise allows minions to increase or decrease their movement stat, a significant strategic advantage that can keep your forces stronger for an extra turn or help them advance more quickly to victory.
