Core Space: Gates of Ry’sa Expansion introduces the ancient Gates of Ry’sa as new terrain pieces, along with formidable First Born adversaries: the Talos and the Cerberosa. This expansion provides everything needed to seamlessly integrate the new miniatures and terrain with the starter set, including dice, equipment tokens, event cards, and a mission booklet. In the new narrative campaign, your Traders compete to control one of these gates and venture through it to explore further asteroid bases filled with untapped treasures. The expansion features stunning cavern terrain large enough to host various creatures and energy pylons with shifting colors that create a striking centerpiece for your gaming table. New event cards reflect the reality-altering effects of the gate’s proximity. Among the fearsome opponents are three Cerberosa, deadly in close combat and enhanced by poisoned attack rules. They replace the standard Knowledge Die with a custom die featuring crippling strikes that reduce Skill pegs, frenzied multi-target attacks, and additional poisoned hits. The set also includes two Talos, who roll their own special dice representing the impact of powerful energy blasts. Their attacks can knock opponents down, cause panic, and even ignite victims. Talos are heavily armored—damaging their rock-like shell temporarily stumbles them, but only repeated hits will fully disable them.
