Cthulhu Wars: Great Old One Pack 1 (Exp.) (engl.)

Beschreibung

Cthulhu Wars: Great Old One Pack One introduces five new Great Old Ones to the game, each available to factions on a first come, first served basis. Awakening a Great Old One like Mother Hydra means other players cannot use her unless they defeat and reawaken her for themselves. Every Great Old One comes with a unique special ability and a distinct spellbook, which is acquired separately from your faction’s own.

• Abhoth: The source of all uncleanness, Abhoth allows you to place Filth tokens across the map. These tokens participate in battles, dealing damage to both sides while being immune themselves, gradually turning the world into a toxic wasteland.
• Chaugnar Faugn: Alters the functioning of Elder Signs to your benefit and grants a new action, Miri Nigri. For 1 power, you can select a battle in an area where you have units and immediately trigger it, with your cultists gaining +2 combat for that fight.
• Cthugha: Requires sacrificing another Great Old One to acquire. This changes battle results by letting you convert your kills into Elder Signs, sparing your opponents but gaining the advantage. His Fire Vampires spellbook generates Power from damage you receive.
• Mother Hydra: Allows you to capture enemy units emerging from the sea for your own use. Her Zygote spellbook lets you spawn multiple cultists at once for a low cost.
• Yig: Makes your cultists poisonous so enemies that consume them die. Additionally, earning his spellbook forces opponents each turn to choose between giving you Power or letting you gain Doom points.
