Cthulhu Wars: Library At Celano Map (Exp.) (engl.)

Beschreibung

The Library at Celaeno Map Expansion adds a new alien cyclopean facility from Lovecraftian lore, set in the Hyades. This expansion includes two new figures: the Librarian and the Custodian, and introduces Special Collections—locations where the first player to construct a Gate gains powerful new spellbooks.

However, control over Special Collections is crucial. Losing them causes your spellbooks to become overdue, unleashing the threat of the Librarian. This figure can only be activated when a player has an overdue Book and can inflict significant damage, though returning the Book can reduce this threat.

The Custodian manages the Oubliette by moving units from the main area into this holding space, which can fill up over the course of the game and occasionally lead to skirmishes.

This expansion also introduces Silence tokens, a new game mechanic used to trigger special actions such as moving the Custodian and Librarian, and activating certain unique Library spellbooks on this map.
