Eclipse - Shadow of the Rift (engl.) (Exp.)

Beschreibung

Eclipse - Shadow of the Rift (engl.) (Exp.) expands the base game with new mechanics like Time Distortion, Evolution, and Anomalies. It introduces new Rare Technologies, Developments, Discoveries, two player boards, and three alien species. The modular design allows flexible use of additions, compatible with the Rise of the Ancients expansion but not requiring it.

The Ancient Uprising has been suppressed, restoring a fragile peace across the galaxy. But the balance is soon shattered as new factions emerge to challenge the status quo. The Unity nanomachines manipulate energy and matter, the Shaper ships distort spacetime itself, and the once insignificant Octantis factions rapidly advance their development. It seems as if the fundamental laws of the universe are breaking down.

This expansion adds new mechanics such as Time Distortion, Evolution, and Anomalies. It also introduces a range of Rare Technologies, Developments, and Discoveries to explore. Players can choose from two new player boards featuring three distinct alien species. Thanks to its modular design, you can incorporate all or only some of these elements into your Eclipse games, adapting to your preferred playstyle.

Shadowy forces unfold from the rifts in spacetime — can your civilization endure unbroken?
