Beschreibung

Edge of Humanity (engl.) is a strategy game for 2 to 5 players aged 13+ with a playing time of 30 to 45 minutes. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, players act as survivors striving to gather Survival points by exploring, managing resources, drafting new survivors, and facing evolving events to rebuild civilization.

"We never saw it coming. Were we the ones who fired first?" he asked himself, though it hardly mattered. The night sky, as red as ever, drew a sigh from him. He felt fortunate to be alive—if this could still be called life. "Is it time to move forward? To rebuild? Does it even matter?" After a global conflict that triggered a chain of devastating events, civilization as we knew it has collapsed, and humanity now stands on the brink of extinction. In this apocalyptic future, a group of survivors strives to rekindle hope by laying the foundation for a new civilization. In Edge of Humanity, 2 to 5 players take on the role of these survivors, competing to earn enough Survival Points (SP) to win the game. With a playtime of around 30 to 45 minutes, the game offers a fresh approach to deck-building, drafting, and hand management. Players explore their surroundings, gather essential resources, and recruit new survivors to sustain their daily lives. Each round brings a new event, introducing challenges that impact various aspects of the journey ahead.
