Beschreibung

EOS Basegame (engl.) is a strategy game for 1 to 5 players aged 14+ with a playing time of 30-150 minutes. Players build an engine and manage a unique crew to awaken petrified angels on the island of EOS while battling demons. Balancing exploration, combat, and crew improvement is key to gaining victory points in this immersive mythical adventure.

In ancient times, powerful angels defended the Island of EOS against demonic creatures emerging from the abyss. However, they were eventually deceived and turned to stone, allowing demons to flood the world ever since. Centuries later, Captain Kareem discovers a petrified angel named Leanas on a remote rock near the island. After awakening her, Leanas grants him immortality and reveals the island’s dark past. In return, Kareem vows to awaken her fellow angels, still frozen on EOS. Together, they aim to banish the demons and restore the angels’ power. EOS: Island of Angels is an engine-building board game for 1 to 5 players that combines unique asymmetrical crew management with worker placement mechanics. Players captain their ships toward EOS, recruiting crew members with distinct abilities and battling demons and their powerful lords. Awakening angels provides valuable blessings that influence player strategies, while demonic attacks can sabotage ships and impose setbacks. Success depends on carefully balancing exploration, combat, and development to earn victory points and write a new chapter in EOS’s mythic history.
