In Expedition Zetta, you begin by recruiting 1 to 4 crew members before setting off to explore strange planetary systems. Each game offers a unique experience as systems are randomly generated based on the latest scientific data. Your mission is to discover exotic substances, develop innovative exo-products to advance human technology, and gain valuable new knowledge. Along the way, you may encounter new forms of life or uncover ruins and settlements of ancient alien civilizations, bringing both opportunity and risk. Occasionally, you might even meet members of another star-faring civilization who could join your crew, expanding the diversity of your team beyond Earth. Crew interactions add an extra layer of depth, as relationships can develop into romance or intrigue, influencing your journey in various ways. Each game includes four planetary systems, and after warping together to a distant star, you explore planets individually, searching for life and resources or working on exo-product development. Intelligent life encountered can open up further interaction opportunities, with discoveries serving as your main source of Fame. The advanced game features the revolutionary Zetta Planetary System Generator, capable of creating an almost limitless variety of star systems—each unique in characteristics and name—making every space voyage truly one of a kind. During the warp phase in the advanced game, interactions with other players’ crew members offer strategic advantages and can lead to unexpected outcomes through romance or intrigue. Beyond gameplay, Expedition Zetta enriches your understanding of stars and planets and creates lasting memories, such as extracting gems from a gaseous giant in a triple star system, finding life in a lenticular galaxy, or producing time crystals near a super-hot O-type supergiant. A basic version is also included, making Expedition Zetta accessible and enjoyable for the whole family.
