Floating Floors Reprint (engl.)

Beschreibung

This wedding-themed card game perfectly captures the excitement leading up to the big day. Each card represents a step in the wedding journey, from Dress Shopping to Cake Tasting. Players start with 9 face-down cards arranged in a 3×3 grid and take turns replacing one card at a time, aiming to create pairs of identical cards next to each other. In Wedding Countdown, all cards remain in play—none are kept hidden in hand. After shuffling all 81 cards, each player receives 9 cards, which they place face down before flipping two corner cards face up. The player with the highest total of these flipped cards begins. On your turn, draw one card either from the deck or the discard pile. Decide whether to keep it by replacing one of your cards in the grid, turning the replaced card face up into the discard pile, or discard the drawn card immediately. Your goal is to form adjacent pairs—up, down, left, or right (diagonal pairs don’t count). Each pair cancels out for zero points, helping you lower your total score. The game ends when a player has flipped all their cards face up or decides to finish early. Then, pairs are cleared and the remaining cards are tallied. The player with the lowest score wins.
