Floriferous (engl.)

Beschreibung

Spend your afternoon wandering through your Floriferous garden, relaxing as you collect a variety of flowers and discover the joy of nature’s abundance.

The game takes place over three days, each divided into five turns (or four turns for five players). On your turn, you move one step through the garden and pick up a flower or desire card. After the three days, you total your points earned from your collections and cards, and the player with the highest score wins.

There are five types of flowers—Tulip, Poppy, Lily, Daisy, and Mum—each available in five colors: Yellow, White, Pink, Orange, and Purple. Many flowers also feature one of five bugs: Butterfly, Ladybug, Bee, Moth, or Beetle. These characteristics—flower type, color, and bug—play a key role in scoring Desire, Abundance, and Mastery cards.

Desire cards, found within the garden, award points based on specific flower collections you have at the end of the game. Abundance cards, placed at the bottom of the garden, give points depending on how many matching flower aspects you have gathered. Sculpture cards, scattered in the garden as well, grant points to the player who collects the most sculptures.

Face-down cards add an element of surprise since you only discover their type when chosen. Stones are collected together with the card they rest on and score points at the end—each two stones count as one point, and collecting the most stones earns you the cup of tea.

Mastery cards are displayed at the top of the garden and are not collected but scored daily, rewarding players who best match the mastery criteria with their flower collection.
