Forage is a roll-and-write puzzle game where players build a tableau through unique combinations of dice rolls and card actions. Each round, you roll the forage dice and reveal a journey tile, then choose to explore, store, or give gifts by selecting specific dice combinations. These actions earn bonuses that enhance future moves, helping you achieve your goals. Exploration cards invite you to navigate forest trails by placing cards that form an expanding spatial puzzle, while pantry cards challenge you to store goods in jars, unlocking bonuses by completing rows and columns. Gift-giving cards require collecting exact ingredient quantities to create gifts, granting immediate and end-game scoring bonuses. With over 90 unique exploration, pantry, and gift-giving cards, as well as 6 double-sided goal cards and 27 journey tiles, each game offers a fresh and strategic experience. Player interaction and decision-making are encouraged through these evolving challenges. Forage combines simple rules with growing complexity as players develop their tableau, making it accessible yet engaging for all skill levels. The beautifully illustrated artwork by Beth Sobel adds an inviting and immersive feel to this innovative roll-and-write game.
